Taraba State chapter of the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the family of the North-East Zonal Vice President of the association, Mrs. Dorcas Solomon on the demise of a close relative.
The deceased, Rev. Clarkson Zidon who was a brother in-law to the VP died after a brief illness.
Members of the Association led by the state Chairperson, Mrs. Hilda Adebayo who visited the family of the deceased at their resident encouraged them to stay strong and believe in God in all things.
Adebayo in her words of encouragement said that “God will take care of the family of the deceased as we are also responsible for them through our kind gestures”.
She believed that as a Pastor and a man of God, the deceased is resting in the bosom of the Lord and the vacuum he has left will be filled with love by many.
The family was also embraced the Representative of RATTAWU, Mrs. Comfort Luka who prayed for more grace and well being of the deceased’s family, saying that God will comfort them specially.
In mist of consolation, Mrs Dinatu Audu who is also a close friend to the family, encouraged them to be strong and promised to always be there.
The NAWOJ delegation was received by the Zonal VP, Wife of the deceased, Mother in-law, children, other relatives as well as sympathizers.
