The Board of Directors, Mambila Beverages Nigeria Limited in Taraba state says that the company had declared to pay a dividend of ten kobo (10 kobo) per share on each of the authorised.
The Board Chairman, Mr. Anthony Jellason revealed this on Thursday while briefing newsmen after the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Jalingo.
Jellason, who is also the Secretary to the Taraba state Government (SSG) said that the company had paid ordinary shares to the Taraba government amounting to fifty million naira (N50m), calling on the public to invest in the Highland Tea.
The SSG also revealed that the company would reward Governor Darius Ishaku with an award as the best developer and promoter of Tea in Nigeria.
He noted that the award was part of the recognition for the stabilisation and improvement in production capacity of the company under the Ishaku’s administration.
According to him, the company has generated a lot of employment for the youth across the state.
