Insecurity: El-rufai applaudd NB Plc for building Police Station.
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-rufai, has applauded the Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc over the donation of a 5 block administrative police station in Kudenda, Kaduna state.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Business Innovation, Prof. Kabir Mato disclosed that the company over the years has continued re-investing it’s profit into the society through Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) instead of sharing it’s entire profit amongst shareholders.
Professor Mato commended the company for the starter Kits distributed to women and youths during the skill acquisition training in Kaduna recently.
Kabir Mato urged other businesses in Kaduna to emulate the character of Nigerian Breweries Plc, especially in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility
He thanked the company in complementing government’s efforts in some of its responsibilities, adding that the society will continue to appreciate the goodwill of the company.
Commissioning the Police Station in Kudenda Kaduna, the Commissioner of police Kaduna Command, CP Yekini Ayoku said the Nigerian Breweries has replaced the apartment being rented as police station since 1997 with the heart of giving and support to the IGP’s community policing strategy
He urged other companies to emulate the Nigerian Breweries plc, stressing that it would go a long in reducing criminality in the area.
He however warned that the Nigerian police will not tolerate any form of attack on the facility or its personel, stating that the station will be equiped with all the necessary gadget
Earlier, the Northern Regional Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Kabiru Kassim commended the Kaduna State Government for creating an enabling environment for their business to strive.

The Production manager Kudenda, Mr. Olusoji Onigbinde said the Nigerian Breweries has lasted this long following the support it receives from its host communities.
This is why we will not relent in supporting particularly the Kaduna state government and it’s agencies when the need arises.
