Kaduna 2023: Uba Sani root for State Police, spends 50million annually on girl child education.

Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and gubernatorial flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Uba Sani today says he is pursuing a bill that will give arms license to vigilante group and create State Police.
Uba Sani reveal this today while addressing journalists at the Media Parley for Guber candidates and National Assembly candidates organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists Kaduna State Council.
He said Nigeria with a population of over 200million do not have the required number of boots to tackle insecurity.
Account to him, “insecurity is a constitutional crisis, the security agencies are under Federal Government,
I and my colleagues in the National Assembly have moved to ensure security is stablize and that can be done through the creation of State Police.”
‘Local Vigilante, and all State security bodies are not licensed to bear arms like the AK 47 and others, however statistics have shown that there are about 500million fire arms in West Africa, 350million in Nigeria. Now when you create and empower State Police
they will be able to tackle bandits. The amendment of the fire arms act is in the pipe line and will be in line with public best practices.’ He stressed.
The Senator who revealed that he spends 50million naira annually on girl child education also stated that education gets 25percentage, in Kaduna budget, while he complements Kaduna State Government.
“In 2015 we met most of our Schools dilapidated. We renovated all of them. This attracted 1.7million students enrollment into our schools. Kaduna State as a result of that policy don’t have much records of out of school children” Sani stressed.
In Health care, the APC flag bearer maintained that the State Government has built 255primary health care centres across the State adding that he renovated some 7Health centres with equipments including buying ambulances within his Senatorial District.
Senator Uba Sani who thanked the members of Nigeria Union of Journalists for the privilege to appear before them promise to work closely with the union if elected as Governor of the State.

‘On trade and investment, Kaduna have attracted over 4billion dollars investment. Apartment from Lagos, no State have archive that. Those investment the governor have done, we intend to build on them and make people self dependent.” He added.
