Kaduna Central PDP Primary: Mr. LA evading Court Summon, Says Sardaunan Badarawa’s Lawyer

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Samuel Atung and Counsel to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kaduna Central Senatorial aspirant in the just concluded primaries for 2023 general election, Hon. Usman Ibrahim, popularly called Sardaunan Badarawa has accused the declared winner of the exercise, Lawal Adamu known as Mr. LA of evading Court Summon.

Samuel Atung made this known after first hearing of a case filed by his client at Federal High Court, Kaduna challenging the outcome of the primary election announced to have been won by Mr. LA on the ground of Over-voting and other irregularities.

The legal luminary decried the evasive behavior of the first respondent to receive personal Court service despite several attempts made to serve him.

” We have been granted accelerated hearing on the matter but unfortunately personal services have not been effected on the first respondent despite several attempts made without success.

” What we have done this morning was to move the court experte again to serve the first defendant and it was granted in the Spirit of the earlier accelerated hearing on the matter and was adjourned to Monday 27 of June 2022.

” I must stress here that the decision of this honourable court will prevail at the end of the day because I’m very optimistic about the substance of our case.

” Justice will be served as We have approached the temple of justice to serve as good precedence in litigations of this nature.

” We strongly believe the court will uphold the decision of the party’s National Working Committee to Kaduna state PDP to conduct a fresh primary as communicated to INEC, Nigeria Police, DSS and other relevant stakeholders , ” he said.
