Kaduna NUJ Felicitates with Governor Uba Sani over Successful inauguration
As part of the historical transition of power from a civilian to another civilian administration across the country, the Kaduna Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has felicitated with the new Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Uba Sani and his Deputy, Dr Hadiza Balarabe on their peaceful and colourful inauguration today Monday 29th May, 2023.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Council Chairman and Secretary, Comrades Asma’u Yawo Halilu and Gambo Santos Sanga, describes the emergence of Governor Uba Sani as a sign of good tidings that will usher in genuine transformation, peaceful coexistence and renewed hope for the citizens of Kaduna state.
The statement also expressed confidence on the ability, capability and genuine intentions of the new administration in the state towards a more vibrant socioeconomic and political prosperity.
The Kaduna Council of NUJ however implored the new administration to carry every section of the state along in the execution of its developmental policies and programs while also intensifying efforts towards addressing the insecurity challenges bedeviling some parts of the state.
The statement further enjoined citizens in the state to support and pray for the new administration to succeed in its developmental agenda, adding that the new APC led administration should be encouraged and appreciated in her solemn declaration to be fair and just to all manner of people irrespective of ethnic, religious and political affiliation.
According to the statement, there is also the need for traditional and religious leaders in the state to compliment the new administration efforts towards reuniting people in the state through good moral teachings for societal growth.
