Members of Kajuru/ Chikun Federal Constituency Want Change of 20-Years Misrepresentation – Cafra
The former Chairman Kajuru Local Government Area and Candidate for the Kajuru/Chikun House of Representatives election
, under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Cafra Caino said people are eager and yearning to change the 20-years misrepresentation led by the incumbent member.
Cafra stated this in an Exclusive interview with THE PUNCH on Monday in Kaduna.
According to him, the people are already tired of the 20-years misrepresentation meted on them by the incumbent Federal lawmaker in the past 20-years without any meaningful development to show it.
“The crime right now in Kajuru/Chikun was the misrepresentation of wasteful 20-years, pointing out that that no single meaningful project has been initiated by the Federal lawmaker.
” We’ve seen other House of Representatives members in Kachia/Kagarko and Zango/Jaba Federal Constituencies attracting job opportunities for their people but in the case of Kajuru/Chikun the case is very pathetic,” Cafra lamented.
Cafra, noted that the people can hardly point out one person that gain any employment through him.
” Imagine if he was able to secure job for even a Cadet officer in 2003 when he became the Federal lawmaker, by now that Cadet officer would’ve been a Brigadier.
He accused Barde of gathering party officials in his hotel to induced them with money for his electioneering bid after every 4-years of failure.
” We love him,but we want to show the people that representation can be taking to another level.
” The people of Kajuru/Chikun are experiencing one of the most turbulent moment as all the roads that connects the Urban cities to the rural area are in a very devastating state without a single efforts by Barde to alleviate their plight.
Cafra, who appealed to people of the Constituency to give him the opportunity to serve them, promised to ensure quality representation.
” I have done lots when I was Council Chairman in Kajuru Local Government Area and I believe that the House of Representatives Seat will offer me a bigger platform to address the insecurity challenges that has bedevilled our people in recent years.
” I led one of the most turbulent Local Government as Council Chairman grappled with insecurity in 2020, but I was able to motivate the security agencies to carry out their job effectively,” he said.
He added , I was able to build a Police station in Kasuwan Magani and a Military Strike Force in Maro Community, one of the epicenter of terrorism in the Council Area.
” We also help in resettling about 20 attacked communities that were decimated leaving in IDPs camps with relief materials.
” God also help me to narrowly escaped the trained attacked that left some persons gruesomely killed and many families in an emotional trauma, noting that he want to speak from an experience background in the floor of the National Assembly if elected.
While commenting on the prospects of the APC in the State, he expressed confidence that the party led by its gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Uba Sani, a seasoned politician has done extremely well as a Senator representing Kaduna Central with a higher number of bills that have impacted his people directly.
” We’ve candidate of the NNPC, Senator Othman Hunkuyi, a former Commissioner and the PDP candidate, Rt. Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan who is countesting for the second term as the flag bearer of the party. Sen. Uba Sani has a track record of working with past Federal Government administrations.
” We’re confident that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear as he leads Kaduna to a threshold of history while we consolidate as members of the National Assembly.
